Pöstlingberg

The Pöstlingberg is a 539 metres high hill on the Danube in the city of Linz. It is a popular tourist spot, with a viewing platform over the city. n
Following the ride up, it is only a few steps to the pilgrimage basilica and the Grottenbahn cave railway. Half way up is the Linz ZOO, which is open throughout the year and houses hundreds of animals and is a great place to visit with your children, specially because it offers the possibility of direct contact with some animals in the open animal runs. nWith the wonderful view over Linz it is a place definitely worth to go to.
